Chicken Tikka Masala

 500 g Boneless Chicken
 1 Onion (chopped)
 1 Onion cubes
 2 Tomato
 1 tbsp Ginger garlic paste
 6 Cashew nuts
 1 tbsp Garam masala
 ½ tsp Turmeric powder
 1 tsp Red chilli powder
 1 tbsp Cumin powder
 1 tbsp Coriander powder
 1 tbsp Coriander leaves(chopped) - Optional
 1 cup Yogurt
 2 Green chillies - Optional
 1 Red bell pepper
 ½ tsp Salt
 1 tbsp Lemon Juice
 1 tbsp Cream
 6 tbsp Any Oil
Let's get started:
Step 1
Prep Work :

Chop the boneless chicken into small pieces for skewers and set it aside. Cut onions and bell pepper in cubes for skewers and set aside.

Take 2 tomatoes, 6 cashews and blend them, and set them aside.

Step 2
Now it’s time for Chicken marination:

Take a bowl to add the following: ½ tsp turmeric powder, ½ tsp ginger, ½ tsp garlic paste, 1 tsp chili powder,1 tbsp coriander powder, 1 small cup yogurt, lime juice 1tbsp, salt to taste. Now add the chopped chicken to the bowl, mix it well and then add chopped onions, bell pepper, and set it aside for 45 min for marination to do its magic.

This process is quite easy, as you will be surprised yourself at the results. Set the skewer ready with marinated chicken + cubed onions + cubed bell pepper and grill it on a pan for about 15min or until they are half cooked.

Take a dry pan, add two tbsp oil, throw in chopped onions and as the onion turn golden brown add garam masala, turmeric powder, ginger+ garlic paste, cumin powder, coriander powder, chili powder, salt to taste, a small cup of water and add tomato + cashew paste which was blended in our previous step. Sauté well and close it with a lid for about 5 minutes to infuse the flavors.

Now add the half-grilled chicken + grilled bell peppers+ grilled onions in the sauté mixture. Give 2 or 3 stirs.

Add some cream on the top in a rhythm for a royal flavor.

Optionally, you can add some coriander as a garnish if you like.

There you go!! We have a “winner” the “Chicken Tikka Masala”.
