Pav bhaji is a very popular Indian street food, where bread rolls are served with pav curry and butter.
Ever since I can remember, I have been a huge pav bhaji fan.
You can find it pretty much everywhere in India, but if you want to taste the best Pav bhaji, go to Mumbai!!
This Pav Bhaji Recipe is very flavorful and can be easily made Vegan by replacing normal butter with Vegan butter!
In my version, am going to make it very easy, with easily available things which u can find at your nearest supermarkets.
Add oil to the pan, when the oil is warm add chopped garlic, green chilies, ginger, and sauté for about 2 min in medium flame and then add onions till they get golden brown.
Add boiled potatoes, cauliflower, peas, and add sliced tomatoes to the mixture and allow them to cook for about 4 or 5 minutes on a medium flame.
At this point, add tomato puree and allow the mixture to cook for 2 minutes with salt to taste.
Add pav baji masala or garam masala along with some red chili powder. Allow the whole mixture to sit on the flame till all the veggies are well cooked.
Once fully cooked turn off the flame and mash the veggies and later garnish with cilantro and lemon juice. Now our bhaji is ready!!
To make our dish complete, we must arrange a marriage ceremony for pav with bhaji (which is the butter-tossed bread).
